Future of funding for EU defence

Our Federation and our partner federation Eurodefense conduct a study on modern economic investment methods for major defence capabilities in Europe. This could help to solve the lack of funding for investments, which is currently prevalent in most Member States of the European Union.

We would like to know if you are familiar with any initiative in Europe or elsewhere to use non-standard methods of funding for major defence capabilities. This means any type of investment other than prepayment using taxpayer money, like pay-for-use, lease, guaranteed debt, equity, etc.
